12 Dec Selecting a Bridal Makeup Artist & Wedding Photographer
Hey beauties,
I am so excited to let you know that my partner, Ade of Ade Oshodi Photography and I are now booking brides for the upcoming wedding season, as part of the ADE & GINA. We provide a unique bridal boutique experience that is customized to your bridal needs.
Furthermore, I would like to give you two tips to consider, in the scope of makeup and photography when selecting wedding vendors.
1. View their work: Any good wedding vendor will have a working portfolio of their work to display to potential clients. Viewing a portfolio will give you an idea of a vendor’s artistic capability, style, and skill. At this juncture, you will be looking to see if their makeup and photography exude timeless images. Moreover, hiring a seasoned wedding professional for makeup and photography will ensure that you receive quality and beautiful wedding photographs.
2. Consult: It’s good idea to meet your wedding photographer and makeup artist, as these vendors play a role in creating and capturing the bride’s beauty, as well as the overall wedding. You want to make sure you like them and they make you feel comfortable. Unlike fashion photographers and runaway makeup artists, your wedding photographer and makeup artist works will be with you for the rest of your life. There are no do-overs for your wedding. You are hiring people who are responsible for getting along with your family and guests as well as preserving your memories for the rest of your life. After the consultation, you should be able to learn of the makeup artist’s and photographer’s overall style, and discern if they will be able to adjust their style to FIT your individual taste. Afterall, this is your wedding. For this reason, Ade and I always consult with potential clients.
Finally, I am looking forward to working with more beautiful, stylish brides to create timeless memories in 2014, because every woman should feel as good as she looks!
